Hello!
My name is Libby Schaffer. I am a game design student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Set to graduate in 2027, I’m utilizing my time at SCAD to network and build my portfolio while exploring my passion for creativity in new ways. This website showcases my artwork from classes and personal projects, reflecting my journey as an artist and my diverse interests in various mediums.
My Story
My many interests have led me to numerous exciting achievements and collaborations; I’ve had the pleasure of showcasing my art at the Vernon Filley Art Museum alongside my instrumental abilities, which have also been featured in multiple churches, Pratt Musical Expressions, and the Cello Chicks Quintet. I’ve also completed several ABRSM exams, working towards my Associate’s in Piano Performance.

After being diagnosed with chronic tendinitis and being limited in my pursuit of playing instruments, I embraced a new path of sharing my love for instruments; teaching piano. This experience taught me innovative ways to work around obstacles and embrace new forms of self-expression. The journey truly enhanced my perseverance and communication skills. When issues arise, I critically think through them with a positive outlook, providing a unique view with numerous solutions. With my newfound confidence in problem-solving, I thrive on the challenges and creativity that each new endeavor brings.

Beyond my primary passions, I’ve invested countless hours in game development, gaming, video editing, content creation, and language learning. Each of these pursuits has contributed to my growth as an artist and creator. I welcome any opportunities for collaboration, discussion, or job inquiries, so feel free to reach out!
